PHILADELPHIA -- The Minnesota Vikings are going to get a taste of wintry weather for the second time in seven nights.
Tonight's Vikings-Eagles game at Lincoln Financial Field is expected to be hit by a blizzard, one that could have winds blowing up to 40 miles per hour.
According to the forecast on AccuWeather's website, the blizzard is expected to dump 6 to 12 inches of snow, with most of it falling before the game is complete. AccuWeather also reported that "sustained winds between 25 and 35 mph will severely blow and drift the snow." The game-time temperature is expected to be in the 20s. The National Weather Service is calling for 3 to 5 inches during the day and 4 to 8 inches at night with wind gusts as high as 40 mph.

The game originally was slated to kickoff at noon CST before the NFL moved it to 7:20 p.m. under its flexible scheduling system that enables the league to put more attractive matchups on NBC.
The Vikings are prepared to stay tonight in Philadelphia rather than fly home right after the game.
The Vikings played their first outdoor home game in 29 years Monday, when they lost to the Chicago Bears 40-14 in a snowy, chilly night at the University of Minnesota's TCF Bank Stadium. That game was the Vikings' second consecutive home game moved from the Metrodome after the roof collapsed Dec. 12 due to heavy snow accumulation from a blizzard.
