Former UND standout Chris Kuper suffered a dislocated left ankle early in the first half of Sunday's game against Kansas City. The injury occurred after Broncos' right tackle Orlando Franklin inadvertently fell on him from behind.
As part of the Broncos' renowned draft class of 2006, Chris Kuper was looking forward to playing in the playoffs for the first time.
He'll have to wait a while longer.
Kuper is out the rest of the playoffs and will most likely need the entire offseason to rehabilitate the injury, according to the Denver Post.
Kuper has started on the Broncos' offensive line since the sixth game of the 2007 season.
