FARGO, -- Former North Dakota State University receiver Jordan Schultenover, who was kicked off the team earlier this month, is facing drug charges.
Schultenover is charged in state court with possession of marijuana with intent to deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Court documents show police seized 24 items in a search of Schultenover's apartment, including marijuana, glass pipes, a scale and cash.
Schultenover, a senior from Minnetonka, Minn., was kicked off the team in early May for violating team rules. He could not be reached for comment Tuesday; there was no answer at the number listed for him.
Assistant Cass County State's Attorney Tracy Peters said authorities found a "dealer quantity" of marijuana in a search of Schultenover's apartment.

Court documents say authorities also have been investigating Ramon Humber, a former NDSU linebacker and roommate of Schultenover's. Humber, who signed a free agent contract with the Indianapolis Colts last month, has not been charged.
Last month, NDSU coach Craig Bohl said he dismissed backup quarterback Troy Jackson, a senior from Los Angeles, due to "repeated off-field issues" involving a marijuana possession charge in February. Bohl also said he suspended return specialist Shamen Washington, quarterback Jose Mohler and defensive end Garrett Johnson indefinitely after the three were cited for drunken driving.
