Rob Loe scored six of his 22 points in overtime and grabbed a season-high 15 rebounds as the Billikens overcame a 16-point second-half deficit to stun the North Carolina Wolfpack 83-80 in NCAA tournament play in Orlando.
Jordair Jett added 18 points for fifth-seeded Saint Louis (27-6), which advances to face either Louisville or Manhattan in Saturday's Midwest regional round of 32. The Billikens trailed 55-39 with just over eight minutes remaining and scored 21 points over the final 3:01 of regulation to force the extra session.
T.J. Warren scored 28 points but was just 6-of-14 from the line as 12th-seeded North Carolina State (22-14) repeatedly missed free throws to keep Saint Louis alive. Ralston Turner added 16 points but missed the tying 3-pointer with two seconds left in the overtime.
Warren’s basket gave North Carolina State a 59-45 edge with just over five minutes left in regulation but the Wolfpack were just 9-of-20 from the free-throw line over the final 3:09 of regulation and the Billikens knotted the score at 70 on Jett's basket with 18.8 seconds to go. Loe scored two baskets in the first 2:32 of overtime and hit two free throws with 56.5 seconds left to make it a five-point margin.

North Carolina State led by 11 late in the first half before the Billikens scored the final seven to trail 30-26. The Wolfpack pushed the lead back up to 12 with 12:25 remaining after a three-point play by Lennard Freeman and a jumper by Turner.
Michigan 57, Wofford 40: Nik Stauskas had 15 points to lead the Wolverines past the Terriers in the second round of the NCAA tournament in Milwaukee.
Glenn Robinson III added 14 points and seven rebounds for No. 2 seed Michigan (26-8), which will play No. 7 Texas or No. 10 Arizona State on Saturday in the third round of the Midwest Regional. Jordan Morgan added 10 points and 10 rebounds for the Wolverines, who outrebounded Wofford 31-26.
Karl Cochran had 17 points and five rebounds for No. 15 seed Wofford (20-13), which fell to 0-3 at the tournament. Justin Gordon went 4-of-5 for eight points off the bench for the Terriers, who went 1-of-19 from the 3-point line.
Robinson had nine of Michigan's final 13 points - including a layup, 3-pointer and jumper on consecutive possessions - as the Wolverines built a 34-20 halftime lead. Cochran had nine points - including Wofford's first 3-pointer after 14 misses - during a 13-2 run that got the Terriers back within 40-33 with 9:24 left.
Morgan's three-point play stopped Wofford's run and Michigan pushed the lead back to 15 with Robinson's tip-in and Caris LeVert's 3-pointer with just over four minutes left. Derrick Walton Jr. and Stauskas added late 3-pointers as the Wolverines - who hit 7-of-17 3s - closed out the win.
