Nancy Black of Grand Forks released this northern pike she says measured 53 inches while fishing with her husband, Craig, on Lake of the Woods near Springsteel north of Warroad, Minn. She was trolling a Rapala Tail Dancer in 15 feet of water when the big pike hit. "I couldnt' have brought it into the boat without my husband," Nancy says. "He netted it. Otherwise, I would still be trying." Black says she's planning to get a replica mount made of the trophy fish.
