Bismarck Century's perfection against the West Region remains.
Tanner Megal's goal at 3 minutes, 45 seconds of overtime lifted Bismarck Century to a 3-2 victory over Bismarck High in the consolation semifinals of the North Dakota state boys hockey tournament at Ralph Engelstad Arena.
The Patriots improved to 16-0-0 against West Region foes.
Bismarck High made the Patriots earn their latest victory. The Demons sent the game to the extra session when Mike Hausauer tied the game at 2 with 3:11 remaining in the third period.
The Demons had to overcome a two-goal deficit to force OT. The Patriots built a 2-0 cushion on a goal from Zach Holmen at 6:28 of the first period and another from Alec Rauhauser at 5:03 of the second period.

Century goalie made 18 saves in the win, while Brett Malkmus stopped 21 shots for the Demons, who had a second-period goal from Cooper Cox.
Minot 1, Jamestown 0: Minot goalie Darren Medler is making quite the name for himself at the state tournament.
After making 41 saves in a 1-0 losing effort to West Fargo in the quarterfinals, Medler stopped all 29 shots he faced as the Magicians beat Jamestown in a consolation semifinal.
Minot's lone goal came at 5:08 of the second period. Junior left winger Sam Ebert scored on an assist from junior Tanner Kavadas.
Jamestown goalie Austin Hoggarth stopped 24 of 25 shots.
