UND has announced today the hiring of John Motherwell as the assistant coach for the UND women's basketball program.
Motherwell will serve as recruiting coordinator and will work mainly with the perimeter players.
"John has a lot to offer our program and we are very excited to have him on board," UND coach Gene Roebuck said. "Being from Michigan, he has numerous contacts in the upper Midwest, and that will give us more opportunity to recruit 'outside the box,' so to speak."
Motherwell spent the past four seasons as an assistant for the Wisconsin-Milwaukee women's basketball team where he served as the recruiting coordinator and camp director.
