Red River finishes second: Grand Forks Red River took second place at the Fargo Shanley Invitational on Monday at the Fargo Country Club.

Based on scores throughout the season, the Roughriders won the Eastern Dakota Conference crown.

West Fargo Sheyenne won the Shanley Invitational with 345 strokes, 13 strokes better than the Roughriders. Lexi LaFramboise led Red River with an 85.

Sheyenne was led by a 75 from medalist Maggie Manson, a UND women's basketball verbal commitment.

Grand Forks Central, led by Clara Hanson's 94, finished eighth.

Soccer

UND's Moller honored again: For the second time this season, UND forward Katie Moller capture the Summit League Offensive Player of the Week award.

Moller, a senior from West Linn, Ore., increased her lead in the league's goal-scoring department to four after compiling three goals and three assists during a weekend road sweep for UND.

She now has nine goals for the 6-1-1 Fighting Hawks.

Moller had the game-winning goal in both shutout victories over Grambling and Alcorn State.

Volleyball

Summit honors UND's Flores: UND's Taliyah Flores was named the Summit League Defensive Player of the Week.

Flores, a freshman from Papillion, Neb., led the Fighting Hawks to a 3-2 record after a series of matches in Florida.

She registered 123 total digs on the week. Flores recorded 36 digs in the win over Charlotte, which is the most in a single game for the Fighting Hawks since 2015.

Mayville State's Mehus receives honor: Mayville State's Jana Mehus was named the North Star Athletic Association Setter of the Week on Monday.

The 5-foot-8 sophomore from Finley, N.D., had 36 assists and 11 digs in a loss at Presentation, followed by 40 assists and 15 digs in a home win against Briar Cliff.

She also had nine kills for the week.

TRF 3, EGF 0: Thief River Falls downed East Grand Forks 25-17, 25-18, 25-14 on Monday night. Senior High dropped to 3-11 while Thief River Falls improved to 3-7.

Haley Burger led Senior High with five kills. Linnea Mowry and Madi Kisch each had seven kills for the Prowlers.
