Missy Miedema has been named Grand Forks Central head volleyball coach.
A native of Grand Forks, Miedema was an assistant at Red River High School for five seasons prior to serving as interim head coach during the 2006 season. In 2007, she was head coach at Climax-Fisher before returning to Red River to teach and coach during the 2008-09 school year.
Miedema is a UND and Red River graduate.
