The UND invasion of Las Vegas is about to begin.

From Boston to Los Angeles, from Vancouver to Tampa, from Winnipeg to London, UND fans are traveling from all over the country -- and even the world -- to watch Saturday night’s U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame Game between the Fighting Hawks and Minnesota in Orleans Arena.

There will be a former Frozen Four Most Outstanding Player in Vegas as well as an 87-year-old grandmother.

Fans have plenty of other things on their agenda: slots, casinos, side trips to the Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam, golf and Vegas Golden Knights hockey games.

If you’re going to Vegas, send Herald reporter Brad Schlossman an email at bschlossman@gfherald.com or a Twitter message @SchlossmanGF to let him know where you’re coming from and what you’re planning to do in Las Vegas.
