Local snocross racer to be featured on Good Morning America

Snocross racer Tucker Hibbert, who grew up in Goodridge, Minn., will be featured Monday on ABC's "Good Morning America" and soon will compete for a fifth-straight gold medal at ESPN's Winter X Games 15.

Snocross racer Tucker Hibbert, who grew up in Goodridge, Minn., will be featured Monday on ABC's "Good Morning America" and soon will compete for a fifth-straight gold medal at ESPN's Winter X Games 15.

Hibbert will be on "Good Morning America" during the 7 a.m. hour CST to donate a custom Castle X Racewear jacket to the show's fourth-annual "Warm Coats and Warm Hearts" drive, which collects and distributes coats and other winter wear to people in need across the country.

While there, he'll also talk about his upcoming bid for a fifth-straight gold medal at the X Games Jan. 27-30.

It's the second appearance for Hibbert on "Good Morning America," but his first time traveling to New York City to interview live in the studio.

Hibbert won his first X Games medal in 2000, becoming the youngest gold medalist in Winter X Games history at age 15. He's won gold medals at the games every year since 2005, and also has won three silver and one bronze medal at the Winter X Games.

He grew up in Goodridge and now lives in the Fargo area.
