UND allowed just 15 percent shooting--including just three made field goals in the second half-- en route to the easy win.
Sophomore Mia Loyd was again UND's leading scorer, producing 16 points and nine rebounds. True freshman Leah Szabla had eight points, eight steals, nine assists and four rebounds.
"I thought we had a pretty good effort, but we were a little bit tired," UND coach Travis Brewster said. "We did a good job with the energy level on the defensive end. We do have room to improve defensively, however."
UND senior Megan Lauck chipped in with 15 points, nine rebounds, three blocks and two steals. Madi Buck contributed 10 points and backup post and freshman Erin O'Toole scored 10 with six rebounds in just 14 minutes of play.
North Dakota will conclude its Toronto trip today with another exhibition game against area all-star players. The game is set for 6 p.m. at Seneca College.
