Jayden Kramer scored on a direct kick in the 11th minute to lift Grand Forks Central to a win over Fargo North today.
Kramer's kick sailed past Fargo North goalie Robert Helming and high into the corner of the net.
"It was a really nice kick," said Central coach Mike Wilber, whose team improved to 4-2-1.

Knight goalkeeper Taylor Endres stopped 16 shots to secure his second straight shutout.
"He's been real big for us," Wilber said.
West Fargo 3, GF Red River 2
West Fargo battled back from a two-goal deficit to defeat Red River on today.
"A two goal lead is the most dangerous in soccer," Red River coach George DuBois said. "That gave them momentum to come right back at us."
Lucas Miller, Zuheer Al Abase and Derek Dreher all scored goals within six minutes of each other for West Fargo.
"We solidified on defense in the second half and had chances to tie it up," DuBois said. "We just ended up on the wrong side."
The Roughriders will play Fargo South at home on Thursday.

WOMEN'S HOCKEY
USA 2, Sweden 0
VIERUMAKI, Finland -- Grand Forks native and UND junior Monique Lamoureux-Kolls scored a goal and added an assist to lead Team USA to a win over Sweden at the 12 Nations Tournament today.
Goaltender Molly Schaus stopped 29 shots for the Americans, who play Finland today.

- Volleyball: East Grand Forks Sacred Heart fell to Kittson Country Central in straight sets tonight, 25-6, 25-16, 25-17. Brittany Hammond led visiting Sacred Heart with seven kills and two blocks. Paige Craigmile recorded a game-high 11 kills for Kittson County Central.
- Hockey: Grand Forks native Nick Fohr has accepted a job as the assistant coach of the U.S. Under-17 team based in Ann Arbor, Mich. While there, Fohr will coach East Grand Forks Senior High's Gage Ausmus and Devils Lake's Keaton Thompson. Fohr previously served as the director of hockey operations at Nebraska-Omaha.
