Lights shine on Grand Forks prep facilities

Grand Forks high school athletes took part in Friday night's lighting of prep stadiums in the city.

Red River players practiced social distancing in the stadium's parking lot of Kraft Field as the lights were turned on for 20 minutes.

Lights at high school stadiums across the country have shined during the past few weeks to support athletes who have had their seasons cut short due to the pandemic.

Lights were also shining on Cushman Field and Apollo Park as part of the night's events.
