Jon Falch of Larimore, N.D., caught this northern pike -- his first open-water fish of the season -- while fishing from shore along a small area lake. Falch, who caught the fish on a Lindy River Runner crankbait, said he didn't measure the pike before releasing it but figures it was about 24 inches long.
