Jacob Randall (left), Badger, Minn., shot this 23-pound wild turkey April 16 while hunting with mentor Brian Mathias of Belgrade, Minn. According to Jacob's mom, Jody, 14 kids from across area participated in the mentored hunt,which was sponsored by the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources and the National Wild Turkey Federation.
