First period

Quinnipiac 1, UND 0 -- Wyatt Bongiovanni (Oliver Chau, Marcus Chorney) 6:07. UND defenseman Cooper Moore whiffs on a puck in the offensive zone, Quinnipiac takes it the other way and it ends up in the back of the net as Bongiovanni puts away his second of the season.

Quinnipiac 1, UND 1 -- Mark Senden 7:33. UND gets a gift when Quinnipiac goalie Dylan St. Cyr plays a puck from behind the net out to the left circle, where Senden picks it off and slaps it into the net before St. Cyr could get back.

Second period

UND 2, Quinnipiac 1 -- Judd Caulfield (Jake Sanderson, Connor Ford) 7:04 (pp). UND is rewarded for an excellent start to the second period, first by drawing a power play, then by converting. Sanderson makes a nice move in the left circle to hold possession of the puck, wheel into space and send a puck to the top of the crease, where UND hammers away until Caulfield gets it underneath St. Cyr.

Third period

UND 3, Quinnipiac 1 -- Connor Ford (Jake Sanderson) 4:38. UND scores at four-on-four as Sanderson enters the zone, nearly loses the puck but wins it back to create and odd-man situation. Sanderson dishes to Ford in the right circle and Ford rockets one in the net for his first goal at UND.
