UND's path to a third-straight Penrose Cup has been set.

The National Collegiate Hockey Conference announced its schedule for the 2021-22 season.

UND will begin with nonconference play in October, then it will open its NCHC title defense Nov. 5-6 with a home series against Denver.

The lone trip UND will not make in league play is Denver. The only team that won't come to The Ralph is Miami.

The nonconference schedule is loaded with marquee matchups, including a home series against rival Minnesota on Thanksgiving weekend. It will also play two of the ECAC's powers in Quinnipiac (Oct. 22-23 in Hamden, Conn.) and Cornell (Jan. 7-8 in Grand Forks).
