The story: For the second-straight night, UND beat Colorado College in overtime. Jordan Kawaguchi scored the game-winning goal 50 seconds into overtime. He also added an assist. The win marked UND's first NCHC sweep of the season.

Lineup notes: UND defenseman Gabe Bast served a one-game suspension for an illegal check to the head of Colorado College forward Alex Berardinelli during the series opener. Josh Rieger entered the lineup in his place. UND also was without injured forwards Grant Mismash and Joel Janatuinen, defenseman Jonny Tychonick and goalie Peter Thome. Tychonick missed his sixth-straight game, while Mismash and Janatuinen missed their third straight. Berardinelli missed the game for the Tigers, who inserted forward Nick Olczyk into the lineup.
