We continue catching up with former UND hockey players who turned pro. Our attention today turns to defenseman Christian Wolanin.

The junior decided to give up his final year of college eligibility and sign a two-year contract with the Ottawa Senators.

This past season with North Dakota, Wolanin tallied up 12 goals and 35 points, finishing first on the team in points and third in goals.

He ended up playing 10 total games with the Senators to finish up the 2017-2018 season.

When asked what his favorite moment was in that span, he mentions his new captain as part of it.
