Q. What's been your favorite road trip so far this season?

A. I'd say Denver. We were staying in Cherry Creek. It was a nice area and the weather was really nice.

Q. What's one thing Grand Forks needs to get?

A. I'm going to stay on the bandwagon and say Chipotle.

Q. Who is the best player you've ever played against?

A. I'd say (Jakob) Chychrun at the USA camp.

Q. What's your favorite hockey movie?

A. I'm going to say Mystery Alaska.

Q. Is a hot dog a sandwich?

A. Absolutely not.

Q. What's the first concert you ever attended?

A. Toby Keith and the State Fair. Eric Church opened for him. It was a pretty good concert.

Q. What's the most you've ever eaten in one sitting?

A. I don't know if this is the most, but this is what I remember: I had two Chipotle burritos and a bowl of chips.

Q. Who is the best dressed player on the team?

A. I'm going to have to go with Shawzy (Hayden Shaw).

Q. Who is the worst dressed on the team?

A. Pogo (Austin Poganski), hands down.

Q. If you were a baseball player, what would your walkup song be?

A. How We Do by The Game.

Q. What emoji do you use the most on your phone?

A. I like the one with the straight face and the teeth showing.

Q. What food do you love that other people seem to hate?

A. I really like broccoli.

Q. If UND could play one game this season in any city in the world, where would you choose?

A. I think it would be cool to play a game in Toronto.

Brad Elliott Schlossman

Schlossman is in his 13th year covering college hockey for the Herald. In 2016 and 2018, he was named the top beat writer in the country by the Associated Press Sports Editors. He also was the NCHC's inaugural Media Excellence Award winner in 2018. Schlossman has voted in the national college hockey poll since 2007 and has served as a member of the Hobey Baker and Patty Kazmaier Award committees.
