Seven Grand Forks high school hockey players were named to the North Dakota all-state hockey team.
State champion Grand Forks Central's all-state selections include forwards Lucas Kanta, Zack Murphy and defenseman Brandon Holt.
Grand Forks Red River, which finished third at the state tournament, landed forwards Mason Salquist and Jackson Kunz and defenders Max Johnson and Landon Haagenson.
Kanta, a junior, led the Knights in points with 38 (15 goals, 23 assists). Murphy, a senior committed to play football at UND, led the Knights in goals with 17. He also had 17 assists.
Holt, a junior, led the Knights on the back end with seven goals and 19 assists.

Salquist, a senior and two-time all-state pick, was the leading scorer in the East Region with 23 goals and 38 assists.
Kunz, a freshman who's committed to UND, was second on the Roughriders in scoring with 23 goals and 17 assists.
Johnson, a senior, led Red River's defensive scoring with nine goals and 20 assists. Haagenson, a senior, added 10 goals and 12 assists.
