Skarperuds take lead
Brothers Tim and Chad Skarperud are in the driver’s seat to win another North Dakota Golf Association state championship.

The Skarperuds teamed for an 8-under par 64 at Grand Forks Country Club to take a four-stroke lead in the NDGA Four-Ball tournament. The two-day tournament concludes today.
The Skarperuds have the four-shot lead over Brandon Wilkens and Jared Piepenburg, who combined for a 4-under par round of 68. Six teams are tied with 69 and eight more teams are tied at 70.
The Skarperuds tee off at 10:16 a.m. today.
