MINNEAPOLIS -- East Grand Forks Senior High's Jessamy Jones finished fourth here Friday at the Minnesota Class A girls high school tennis singles tournament.
After winning her first two matches Thursday, Jones opened Friday's play by dropping a 6-0, 6-3 decision to Mounds Park Academy's Amber Washington, who went on to win the state championship.
In the third-place match, Sonja Das of St. Paul Academy and Summit beat the Senior High sophomore 6-0, 6-0.
