DEVILS LAKE - Lakota-Edmore is headed to state.

Shaye Ronningen scored a game-high 22 points to lead Lakota-Edmore past North Star in the North Dakota Region 4 girls basketball championship game in the Devils Lake Sports Center on Thursday night.

Lakota-Edmore built a 30-19 lead in the first half, then blew the game open in the third quarter, outscoring the Bearcats 20-9. The Raiders led by 22 after three quarters.

Fallyn Freije added 13 points and Jaedyn Pesek had 10 for the Raiders. Mary Haman added nine.

Sarah Hagler scored a game-high 21 points for the Bearcats.
