For camping enthusiasts, a new portable stove combines light weight and versatility by using two commonly available fuel types to cook meals or boil water whenever and wherever the need arises.

Made by the Nebraska-based Seth McGinn Co., best known for its CanCooker line of cooking products, the Multi-Fuel portable cook top runs on both propane and butane, and an electronic ignition makes it easy to light.

The stove measures 12ยพ-by-13 7/8-by-3 5/8 inches and weighs just 5 pounds, including its injection-molded plastic carrying and storage case.

Introduced in January, the Multi-Fuel is perfect for camping, hunting, fishing, RVing, tailgating or any emergency situations where outdoor cooking may be a necessity. Exceptionally quiet during operation, the Multi-Fuel cook top uses either a standard 8-ounce butane canister or a 16.4-ounce propane canister. No batteries are required.

The Multi-Fuel portable cook top is available online at www.cancooker.com or at sporting goods and hardware stores nationwide for a suggested retail price of $69.99. A list of dealers also is available on the website.
