I don't have a Cobra Garage Storage Rack yet, but after watching a video of the racks being installed and used, I'd have to say it's just a matter of time.
This is one of the most ingenious-and by the looks of it, easy to install-systems for storing fishing rods I've seen in a long time. It puts the storage right on the garage door, an unused space, so the Cobra storage rack will work in even the most cluttered spaces.
If you're the kind of angler who has fishing rods standing around in corners or anywhere there's an open space-come on, admit it-the Cobra storage rack just might be the ticket for solving that problem.
The Cobra Garage Door Storage Rack won the Best Tackle Management award at the recent 2016 ICAST (International Convention of Allied Sportfishing Trades) fishing gear trade show in Orlando, Fla. At $35, the rack offers an affordable solution to storing not only fishing rods, but rakes and other garden tools, mops and brooms.
How slick is that?

According to the company's website, the Florida-made-and-packaged racks are constructed of high-strength plastic and clamp to 18- and 21-inch garage door panels without tools.
The standard garage door height is 7 feet; a five-panel door has 18-inch segments, while four-panel doors have 21-inch segments.
The racks also can be hard mounted to garage doors and walls or ceilings. Custom spacers are available to fit nonstandard doors, and the racks can be installed on insulated garage doors.
Each rack can store up to 10 pounds.
The 21-inch version of the Cobra Garage Door Storage Rack holds six rods-simply alternate the rod tip and reel placement in each row-and the 18-inch rack holds five rods. Both units retail for $35, and custom spacers are available for $3.50.
