Q. Who is the best player you've ever played against?
A. I'd say Osh (T.J. Oshie). I try to challenge myself against him. His go-to is the shootout. That's his style. He's a shootout guy. I know when he's here, I try to take a few shootouts with him after practice and what not. . . just to make me feel better about myself (laughs).
Q. Do you feel you've played better the past few weeks than at the start of the season?
A. Yeah. I think I had a bit of a slow start. As a team, we did as well. I think we're starting to figure it out a bit now. I've noticed a little stronger defense in front of the net, which has helped me out a lot and helped me get more comfortable in the net.
Q. What are the defenders doing better?

A. I think they've been better all around. They've been letting me see pucks, they've been cleaning out everything in front and picking up sticks when necessary. There have been a few (lapses), but nobody is perfect. But they've been doing a good job defensively in the past few weeks, for sure.
Q. Is it frustrating as a goalie when the team isn't scoring much?
A. It's always frustrating when you don't score goals. There's nothing I can personally do about it. I've got to rely on the guys in front of me to do it. I know that we have the talent to do it. We haven't had a ton of chances lately, but once we do get the chances, they will capitalize on them.
