Former UND running backs John Santiago and Brady Oliveira are together again.
Santiago has been signed by the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, the Winnipeg Sun reported Sunday.
Santiago had NFL rookie minicamp tryouts with the Minnesota Vikings and Atlanta Falcons but didn't land a contract.
Oliveira was drafted by his hometown Blue Bombers in the second round of the CFL draft -- the first running back selected -- earlier this month.
Santiago and Oliveira shared the UND backfield for four years.
Santiago, a 5-foot-9 speedster from Andover, Minn., finished his UND career with more than 3,700 yards rushing and 29 touchdowns.
