First quarter

South Dakota 7, UND 0, 11:05 left first quarter: South Dakota marches on its opening drive, only needing one third down during the series. The drive was capped by a Carson Camp 7-yard touchdown pass to Caleb Vander Esch, who wrestled the pass away from UND cornerback Evan Holm.

South Dakota 10, UND 0, 3:36 left first quarter: UND avoids giving up touchdowns on consecutive drives thanks to an offensive pass interference call that negated a Coyotes touchdown pass. Instead, USD connects on a 37-yard field goal after Evan Holm bats down a third-and-goal attempt from the 20.

South Dakota 10, UND 7, :20 left first quarter: UND finds its first bit of momentum in the game. The drive was sparked by a 29-yard pickup on third-and-6 when Tommy Schuster hit Jake Richter. On first-and-10 from the 14, Schuster finds Brock Boltmann wide open for a 14-yard touchdown catch.

South Dakota 17, UND 7, 8:25 left third quarter: After a pair of third-down conversions on USD's first drive of the second half, Camp finds Wesley Eliodor over the middle wide open for a 24-yard touchdown catch.

South Dakota 17, UND 10, 2:24 left third quarter: After a couple passes to tight end Adam Zavalney, UND's drive stalls at the 24. Brady Stevens, in his first career attempt at UND, drills a 41-yard field goal. UND starting kicker Adam Stage is out today.

Fourth quarter

South Dakota 20, UND 10, 12:15 left fourth quarter: UND linebacker Devon Krzanowski comes up with a big third-down run stop but the Yotes still get points when Mason Lorber kicks a 54-yard field goal.

South Dakota 20, UND 13, 5:52 left fourth quarter: UND puts together a scoring drive but had to settle for three points despite a first-and-goal from the 8 situation. Stevens connects on a 25-yard field goal. UND kept the drive alive early when Quincy Vaughn picked up 2 yards on fourth-and-inches on UND's own 34-yard line.
