No. 1-ranked North Dakota State opened the Missouri Valley Football Conference spring schedule with a 25-7 victory against Youngstown State on Sunday, Feb. 21, at Gate City Bank Field at the Fargodome.

Bison sophomore running back Kobe Johnson rushed for more than 100 yards and a touchdown to help NDSU grind out a victory in quarterback Zeb Noland's first career start at NDSU.

Noland completed 9 of 18 passes for 74 yards.
