Finally, it's time for some golf

It may have been a little breezy. The temperature may not have been perfect. However, after a winter that didn't seem to end, the conditions for golf on Wednesday were good enough for city golfers...

It may have been a little breezy. The temperature may not have been perfect. However, after a winter that didn't seem to end, the conditions for golf on Wednesday were good enough for city golfers

King's Walk Golf Course opened for the season on Wednesday, the first of the Greater Grand Forks golf courses to do so.

Other GGF courses are nearing their opening dates as well.

• Today at 11 a.m., the Lincoln Golf Course will open for the season.

• Valley Golf Course in East Grand Forks will open at noon on Friday.

• The Grand Forks Country Club, meanwhile, is hoping to open sometime this weekend.
