Fargo South edges Grand Forks Central in volleyball region play-in

THOMPSON, N.D. -- Fargo South's Emma Dalby had a match-high 18 kills to lead the Bruins to a come-from-behind, five-set victory over Grand Forks Central in an East Region Tournament play-in game Saturday at Thompson High School.

The Bruins won by scores of 25-27, 23-25, 25-21, 27-25, 15-8.

The Knights were led by Sofia McGee's 16 kills. Lily Hodgson added nine kills, while Paige Carlson handed out 26 assists and racked up 11 digs.

The Knights end the year with a record of 5-17.
