Returning section/subsection open placers: Sr. Adam Schnathorst (1st at subsection, fifth at section, 110 hurdles; third at subsection, 7th at section, triple jump; fourth at subsection, seventh at section, 300 hurdles), sr. Cole Orthaus (4th at subsection, 5th at section, long jump; 1st at section, 4x400 relay), sr. Austin Kloety (1st at section, 4x400 relay), jr. Austin Clifton (1st at section, 4x400 relay),  jr. Ben Regorrah (4th at subsection, 3,200), fr. Jackson Galstad (4th at subsection, 400).

Other top returners: Sr. Tom Pace, soph. Casey Kallock.

  Potential new impact athletes

Green Wave coach Misialek says: "I think we'll be really strong in the relays. We have a lot of kids coming back, guys like Clifton, Kloety, Kallock, Orthaus and Pace, who did well on relays last year. We're pretty deep in the sprints and middle distances. Clifton and Kloety are both looking at breaking our school 400 record, and Schnathorst should do well again in the hurdles and triple jump. We're a little short in throwers and the distances, though Regorrah looks like he's really coming on in the 1,600 and 3,200.''

Girls

  Coach: Liesa Hanson.

2015 finishes: Fourth at subsection 31A, tied for fourth at Section 8A.

Key graduation losses: Allison Pritchett, Christal Moe, Kayla Cremers.

Returning section/subsection open placers: Sr. Erica Eades (4th at state, 1st at subsection, 2nd at section, 800), sr. Rylee Skyberg (3rd at section, 1st at subsection, triple jump), sr. Aletta Anderson (4th at subsection, 300 hurdles), jr. Elli Vonesh (4th at subsection, shot put), soph. Tiffany Hanson (2nd at subsection, 1st at section, 300 hurdles), fr. Brynna Monda (2nd at subsection, third at section, high jump).

Other top returners: Sr. Rachel Jenson, jr. Haylie Carlstrom, jr. Ponny White, jr. Kaylen Cummings, fr. Kora Jordheim, fr. Mckenna Langerud, fr. McKenna Garrett.

Potential new impact athletes: Sr. Tessa Hanson, 7th-grader Maren Garrett.
Green Wave coach Hanson says: "We should be strong in the middle distances. Erica Eades is our top returner. She's looking good to start the season. Tiffany won the 300 hurdles last season at the section in the first year she competed in them. She should be our top hurdler and sprinter. Rylee and Brynna should do well in the jumping events. We'll have to rely on those quality kids for alot of our points because we aren't filling all the events. We're still trying to develop some depth. Hopefully some girls will find their niche as the season goes along.''
