Potential impact newcomer: Fr. Jace Fore.

Green Wave coach Misialek says: “It will be a little different this season because we can’t go to the big meets like we have in the past. With everybody back but Cole, we feel we’ll be competitive in every meet we’re in. Tyson is one of the best runners in the state (finishing 14th at the 2019 Class A state meet). Jonathan won’t be far behind Tyson; he’s a really good runner, too. Several of the other kids ran over the summer. I think we’re a little deeper team than we were last year.’’

Girls

Coach: Kirk Misialek.

2019: Fifth at Section 8A.

Key graduation losses: Gracie Coulter, Alexis Hanson.

Top returners (section place): Soph. Lydia Floden (4-15th at state), sr. Marin Garrett (18), sr. Kassidy Allard (25), sr. Quincie Floden (40), jr. Mikila Gudajtes (59).

Potential impact newcomer: 8th-grader Katie Allard.

Green Wave coach Misialek says: “We aren’t very deep, but we have some quality runners. Lydia is a very good runner; she set a school record in the 5,000 at the state meet last year. Marin, Kassidy and Quincie have been running on our team for quite a while. They’re better-than-average runners, and they always seem to get better as the season goes along.’’
