DICKINSON, N.D. - A construction firm here recently filed a lawsuit to recover more than $3 million for problems it encountered during a state park project.
Martin Construction Inc. filed a lawsuit in the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, according to a company news release.
The company encountered numerous problems while constructing a marina in Fort Stevenson State Park for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the release states, including incurring unsafe conditions and additional costs and experiencing delays because of defective designs and specifications.
