Abilene Christian 7, UND 3, 4:56 left: A long kick return by Red Wilson, coupled with a late-hit call, gives the Hawks great field position. A 17-yard pass from Tommy Schuster to Bo Belquist sets up first-and-goal from the 6 but UND has to settle for a short Brady Stevens 20-yard field goal.

UND 10, Abilene Christian 7, 13:34 left: Bo Belquist catches a 4-yard comeback route on first-and-goal to give the Fighting Hawks their first lead. Belquist's 37-yard catch earlier in the drive put UND in good position.

Abilene Christian 14, UND 10, 3:46 left: On third-and-5 from the 11, UND cornerback Edmund Ocansey trips trying to cover Tristan Golightly, who catches the easy score.

UND 27, Abilene Christian 17, 2:38 left: Tommy Schuster finds a deep ball to Caden Dennis down the sideline for a 31-yard gain. On the next play, Tyler Hoosman goes up over the pile for a 2-yard touchdown run.

UND 27, Abilene Christian 24, 1:13 left: A huge 91-yard kick return by Davion Johnson sets up a strange third-and-goal from the 12. For the second time in the game, a UND cornerback — C.J. Siegel this time — falls over on a 50-50 ball. The Wildcats score and cut the lead to three.
