FARGO - Two former North Dakota State players have been invited to the NFL Scouting Combine.
Running back John Crockett and defensive end Kyle Emanuel are both headed to the week-long recruiting event. They both made their announcements via Twitter on Tuesday. The NFL Combine is scheduled for Feb. 17-23 in Indianapolis.
The Bison have had at least one player at the NFL Combine in for a second consecutive year. Former Bison offensive tackle Billy Turner was invited last season before he was taken in the third round of the NFL Draft by the Miami Dolphins.
At the combine, college football players go through physical and mental tests in front of NFL coaches, front office personnel and scouts. The event is invite only.
