POCATELLO, Idaho -- Visiting North Dakota rallied from a 2-1 deficit to defeat Idaho State 23-25, 25-20, 21-25, 25-23, 15-9 on Friday night in Big Sky Conference play.
"That was a very entertaining couple of hours of volleyball,'' UND coach Ashley Hardee said. "Idaho State is well-coached with some great athletes. It's hard to single anyone out on our side because it was a full team effort. We passed great in serve receive when we needed it most and blocked some huge balls in the final two sets.''
UND (17-8, 12-1 Big Sky) was led by freshman Anna Pioske's career-high 23 kills. Lisa Parlich and Ronni Munkeby each contributed 16 kills while Nikki Husfeldt generated 65 assists, 15 digs and five total blocks.

North Dakota, which leads the conference by two matches with seven left to play, meets Weber State at 8 tonight.
WOMEN'S SWIMMING
UND 173, Northern Iowa 127
UND claimed its third dual win in a row Friday.
Erin Grabanski and Camille Merwin had season-best times, in the 100 backstroke and 100 breaststroke, respectively, for UND. Alli Schwab and Steph Frey tied for second place in the 50 freestyle, also setting season-best times.
Despite the win, UND coach Chris Maiello said there's room for improvement.
"Although we won the meet, our performances need to be much sharper if we want to continue to work towards our goals," Maiello said.
