another award

BOSTON - UND senior Troy Huff has earned a spot on the Lou Henson All-America Team for the second consecutive season and is one of 30 finalists for the Lou Henson Award, given annually to the top Mid-Major player in Division I basketball.

Huff was one of only four repeat performers on the team, joining Oakland’s Travis Bader, BYU’s Tyler Haws and Indiana State’s Jake Odum with that distinction. The Milwaukee native averaged 19.2 ppg for the second consecutive season and became just the third player in UND history to reach the 2,000-point plateau.

Fellow All-Big Sky first team performer Kareem Jamar was the only other player from the Big Sky Conference named to the 30-man squad.
