FARGO - Tickets for the West Regional in Fargo’s Scheels Arena will go on sale at 11 a.m. today.
The tickets, sold as three-game packages, may be purchased at www.ncaa.com/frozenfour . The games will be played on March 27-28.
If UND makes the NCAA tournament, it will automatically be placed in the West Regional because it is hosting it.
The other regionals will be held in South Bend, Ind., Manchester, N.H., and Providence, R.I.
Stecher named
D-man of week

UND sophomore Troy Stecher is the defenseman of the week in the National Collegiate Hockey Conference.
Stecher had four assists - two in each game - as UND earned a win and a tie against No. 5 Providence last weekend. The Richmond, B.C., product also was part of a penalty-killing unit that went 14-for-15 on the weekend.
For the season, Stecher is tied for the team lead with six assists and a plus-four rating.

- Women’s golf: Sophomore Alexis Guggisberg carded a 77 (+5) in the opening round of the UAB Fall Beach Blast to turn in her best round as a collegian Monday in Gulf Shores, Ala. She owned a pair of 78's coming into the fall season finale for UND. Guggisberg’s effort coupled with a 78 (+6) from junior Sadie Martin helped UND post a team score of 318 (+30), which is the squad's lowest since opening with a 316 at the Cobber Open. UND concludes its fall season with today’s final round in Gulf Shores.
