SIOUX CITY, Iowa -- Jamestown College advanced to the Sweet 16 of the NAIA Division II women's basketball tournament with a 70-54 win over Menlo, Calif., on Thursday.

Bridget Schuneman led Jamestown with 19 points.

The Jimmies improved to 27-5 and will meet Eastern Oregon today at 1:45 p.m.

Kayla Roemmich was Jamestown's only other double-figure scorer as she finished with 10 points.

Jamestown has advanced to the second round for the second-straight year and for the third time in school history.

In the NAIA Division II men's tournament, Cardinal Stritch of Wisconsin beat Jamestown 74-56 on Thursday in a first-round game in Point Lookout, Mo.
