Former UND forward Carter Rowney will play for the Stanley Cup.

Rowney’s Pittsburgh Penguins beat the Ottawa Senators in double overtime of Game 7 in the Eastern Conference Final on Thursday night to clinch a trip to the Stanley Cup Final.

The Penguins will take on Nashville beginning Monday night.
