Carter Beck, 14, East Grand Forks, caught this 28-inch walleye May 9 on Four-Mile Bay of Lake of the Woods. He was fishing with his father, Josh, and grandpa, Randy Beck, all from East Grand Forks. The fish weighed 8 1/2 lbs, Josh Beck said. "Carter gave it kiss and let it go back into the water," his dad writes.
