Q. Can I take my 10-year-old daughter and 9-year-old son pheasant or squirrel hunting?

A. Resident youth under the age of 13 are allowed to hunt small game without a firearms safety certificate. The only requirements are that the youth must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and must obtain a free small game license.
