Allegiant announces one-time, direct flights for fans heading to UND hockey’s game against Penn State
The flight coincides with the UND hockey team’s game against Penn State in Music City, USA as part of the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame Game.
Allegiant will be offering a one-time scheduled service flight between Grand Forks and Nashville, Tenn., for the UND hockey team's Hall of Fame game later this year.
The airline will depart Grand Forks International on Oct. 28 and return Oct. 31. The flight coincides with UND’s game against Penn State in the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame Game. The game, which will be played Oct. 30, was originally scheduled to take place in 2020, but was rescheduled as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
“We know the University of North Dakota has a very passionate fan base and want to ensure the phenomenal student-athletes playing on the ice have full support from a sea of green in the stands,” Drew Wells, Allegiant senior vice president of revenue, said in a statement. “The Hall of Fame game is a terrific opportunity for the athletes to showcase their skills while also raising crucial funds to support the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame and Museum in Minnesota.”
