Honors

North Dakota State's Cordell Volson was named Missouri Valley Football Conference Offensive Lineman of the Week by the league office Monday, Sept. 13. It is his second career player of the week award.

Volson, a sixth-year senior from Balfour, N.D., played all 23 offensive snaps in the first half of North Dakota State’s 64-0 win over Valparaiso, splitting time at right tackle and right guard. Volson graded out at 95 percent with zero missed assignments, and zero quarterback pressures or tackles for loss allowed.
