Second period

UND 1, Denver 0 -- Jasper Weatherby (Jordan Kawaguchi, Matt Kiersted) 10:58 (pp). Weatherby scores his third power-play goal in three games. After a clean faceoff win, UND sets up the power play and Kawaguchi sends a pass from the right point to Weatherby in the high slot. The sophomore re-directs it high into the corner of the net, where he had a goal disallowed last season.

UND 1, Denver 1 -- Kohen Olischefski (Slava Demin, Emilio Pettersen) 11:55. UND's lead doesn't even last a minute. Denver comes down the other way and gets a puck to the crease, where a mad scramble ensues. UND players try to whack it out of danger, but Olischeflski slides it underneath Scheel to tie it up.

Third period

Three-on-three OT

UND gets extra point -- Colton Poolman (Jasper Weatherby, Grant Mismash) 3:22. Weatherby carries the puck in the zone from the right side and cuts to the middle, where he loses the puck. But Denver's Pettersen fumbles it and Poolman picks it up and snipes it as UND gets the extra point in the NCHC standings.

Pregame comments

UND goes with the exact same lineup for the third game in a row. Denver is dressing goalie Devin Cooley for the first time this season. The Pioneers also did a little bit of line juggling at right wing from their last game against Minnesota Duluth.
