VERMILLION, S.D. -- The University of South Dakota women's basketball team scored its biggest win since moving up to Division 1 Wednesday night, Nov. 28, knocking off 23rd ranked Iowa State, 64-59 at the Sanford Coyote Sports Center. The win marks the first for the Coyotes over an AP Top 25 team.


Win-E-Mac product Madison McKeever provided some much needed scoring in the second half, registering nine points in helping the Coyotes to the win.


Junior guard Ciarra Duffy was huge for USD, scoring a team high 17 points, joined by Allison Arens 11 points as the Coyotes led by as many 17 points in the second half.


South Dakota improved to 6-1 on the season and hosts Green Bay on Saturday.
