The search for the new head volleyball coach at UND is down to two.

Idaho associate head coach Brian Lamppa and UND associate head coach Jeremiah Tiffin are the two finalists for the job, UND released Tuesday night in response to an open records request.

UND is searching for the replacement of Mark Pryor, who resigned this spring and has since taken an NCAA Division III job in Texas.

Lamppa has been with the Vandals since the start of the 2011 season. Prior to his time at Idaho, Lamppa worked at Washington State.

Lamppa's connections to the Upper Midwest came at the University of South Dakota (2003-08). There, he led the Coyotes to a school record 23 wins in 2007, as well as the school's first two NCAA tournament appearances (2004 and 2007).

Tiffin was announced at UND in December by Pryor.

Tiffin spent the previous four seasons at Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, Texas. There, he claimed a Red River Athletic Conference title in each of his four seasons.

Before his time at OLLU, Tiffin served as the recruiting coordinator for Baylor where he helped his alma mater sign two Top 75 recruits during the 2015 season.
